At Second Chance Counseling Services, LLC, we are always looking for compassionate, skilled, and dedicated mental health professionals to join our team. Current Opportunities

We are currently seeking a licensed psychotherapists and mental health clinicians (LCSW-C, LCPC, LGPC, LMSW, or related licensure) who are interested in working with individuals, families, or groups.

We are currently seeking a motivated Graduate-Level Clinical Intern (Social Work or Counselor) for the upcoming academic year.

  • The Role

  • Direct Clinical Care: Conduct individual, couples, or group therapy sessions under the direct supervision of a board-approved supervisor.

  • Professional Development: Participate in weekly supervision and case consultation within a private practice setting.

  • Administrative Experience: Learn the nuances of private practice management, including EHR documentation and “incident-to” insurance billing procedures

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Master’s or Doctoral program in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology

  • Eligible for a field placement in Maryland

  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and cultural humility
